POLARISThe brief was to draw inspiration from a location to create a brand identity and associated applications for a members’ club that resonates with a defined target audience.

The problem I identified was that Millennials and Gen-Z have grown up with Google maps and have become over reliant, especially in London. My solution is Polaris. A London-based run club that teaches navigation through exploration.

LIVE WIREDThe goal of 'Live-Wired' is to help people appreciate and recognise street performance and gig performance as one celebration of music.
We aim to strengthen and elevate the community of busking. We want to rewrite the narrative of buskers being 'unprofessional' and change perspectives of audiences and the general public. We utilised wires, inspired by cables used in live music performance, as a visual bridge, connecting audiences and street musicians together.

MUSEUM OF INDUSTRY My concept for the museum of industry is the idea of a chain reaction. Every invention has a predecessor and successor. Every decision creates a chain reaction not only in the world of industry, but the world as a whole. It evolves in an almost natural way, and this idea is illustrated with the visual of raindrops, which leave ripples from their impact.

STEPHEN HAWKING STAMP SETThe brief was to create a stamp set for a british icon. I chose to do Stephen Hawking, who contributed numerous significant discoveries to theoretical physics, mostly revolving around black holes. His most significant discovery, also marked on his gravestone, is Hawking radiation. He discovered that black holes were not an all destroying void, that radiation did come out of them. This is why black holes glow. This radiation contains information that could be the key to discovering the start of the universe.

My stamps feature black holes emitting 5 of Hawking’s most significant contributions out of them. The glow of the holes also relates to the different colour temperatures black holes can be. My foldout is modelled after an academic paper, which is the format for Hawking’s life’s work.

1984 TITLE SEQUENCEIn the book ‘The Party’ has control over everyone through their control over history and documents. In the book they frequently destroy and edit historical documents to serve their agendas and anyone who denies them ends up in Room 101. This control over the past means they can spin any narrative they want, which gives them absolute power. This is why I have chosen to make it the theme of my title sequence.

I have used footage from the most iconic moments in history and censored/glitched them as if ‘The Party’ is tempering with them. All the dead people in the clips are labelled as ‘UNPERSON’ as that is what dead people are called in the book. The glitch effects also get more modern as the sequence progresses to match the clips.
